What kind of wood are your signs made of?

Our frames are made of locally sourced and sustainably harvested walnut and the boards that make up the face of the signs are usually basswood, aspen, and sometimes cherry. They are all hand-painted before heading off to the printer for their design.

Where are your signs made?

Right out of Edgewood, Iowa, USA. Kendrick Home is a division of Kendrick Inc. which houses Iowa’s largest sawmill. These signs are made from high-quality bi-product. We are family owned and operated.

Are you environmentally friendly?

We hold ourselves environmentally responsible and strive to practice our profession in an environmentally safe manner. In doing so, we continually improve our process to achieve minimal waste and we use vendors that have that same mentality. No sign goes to waste! Anything that does not pass our quality control is then chipped down into mulch. Sawdust collected off our saws is used to heat our kilns at the sawmill.

How do I hang my wood sign?

The majority of our signs are free-standing and can be stood up directly by their frame. Small sizes can be hung from the walnut frame lip on the back with one or two screws. Our large sizes (24x24, 30x24, 36x12, 36x18, 36x24, 40x20, 40x32, 48x16) come attached with a wire hanger for easy hanging. The wire hangers can be adjusted higher or lower on the back of the frame with a Phillips screwdriver for the desired hanging look. Our 16” Circle comes with a sawtooth hanger on the back.

Why are there lines through my wood sign?

This is not a line or crack that you are seeing, but the seam where the two pieces of wood that make up the face of the sign meet. All of our signs are made out of real American Hard Wood and are built with 4-inch-wide pieces that are stapled together, printed on, and then framed. This is simply the line that the boards make when they come together. This seam may expand and contract with the humidity level the wooden sign is kept in as the hardwood breathes.

Do you offer custom sizes and designs?

Yes, we do offer custom designs and sizes. We ask that you follow our custom design process by contacting our office staff and getting your sign designed and approved.

Most custom pieces can be placed into your shopping cart and ordered with other signs as well. Failure to follow our design process can slow down the whole order as we wait for the design to get approved.

Why can’t I view the pricing or add it to my cart from your website?

We are a wholesale company and sell directly to retail stores.  You can email us at [email protected] and we will help you order the products you are looking for from one of our approved retail stores.

SHOPPING CART AND ORDER FAQ

What are shipping rates?

15% of your order total, free shipping at $1500. Additional charges apply for dropship.

Do you drop ship?

Yes, if you would like to dropship contact us at [email protected] and we will set you up as a dropship customer, there is a 10% charge to dropship.

Is there a minimum to order? Reorder minimum?

No minimums for opening orders or reorders.

What is the turnaround time on orders placed, and how long will my order take to complete?

We make everything to order and ship out in 1-2 weeks. Allow a few business days in shipping transit.

Do you ship large orders via pallet?

Yes, we offer shipping of large quantities on pallets with a truck that includes a liftgate or a straight truck if you have a forklift or dock. The shipping weight must be 200 lb. in order to ship by pallet.

Do you ship internationally?

We ship to Canada and have had a few orders go to the Caribbean. Be prepared for a higher freight charge for international orders.

My sign arrived with damages. What now?

Give our team a buzz! Visit our Claims page and fill out the form, and we would be happy to look into what caused the damages, scratches, or dents. Some claims may need to be filed with shipping companies, so take lots of pictures and keep the box if you are able. Replacements are sent for free to your store.

Where can I find my invoice for previous orders?

Under My Account, click on Orders. Click on the order number you want to view. To print your invoice right click > Print.

How can I track my order?

When you place an order you will receive an email with your tracking number in it. If you cannot find your tracking number please email [email protected]
